Job Description

Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains industrial machinery and equipment used in metal processing, ensuring a safe and efficient production environment. Key duties include performing preventive maintenance, disassembling and rebuilding machinery, basic welding and cutting, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety standards. Strong mechanical aptitude, computer skills, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role,

Key Responsibilities:-

Machine Maintenance:

Clean, lubricate, and perform preventive maintenance on all production machinery and equipment.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

Diagnose faults, repair broken machinery components, and replace defective parts.

Welding and Fabrication:

Perform basic welding (MIG, TIG, stick), cutting, and fabrication of metal parts.

Installation:

Install and set up new production machinery and equipment.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Parts and Tool Management:

Identify needed repair parts and maintain inventories of parts and supplies.

Reporting:

Prepare maintenance reports and maintain trend analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:-

Mechanical Aptitude:

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to use diagnostic equipment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic machining (lathe, mill).

Reading Comprehension:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.

Computer Proficiency:

Basic computer skills for reports, email, and maintenance software.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in industrial environments.

Communication:

Effective communication skills to work with production teams and answer requests.

Safety Awareness:

A commitment to safety protocols and best practices.

Work Environment :-

Work is performed in industrial settings, often involving heavy machinery and potentially hazardous conditions. Technicians may work in shifts and be required to work overtime to address unexpected maintenance issues

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
