Role Summary We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store "tMart", which is the region's first cloud store concept offering 30-minutedelivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!

What's On Your Plate? Your mission: Carry out assigned maintenance work safely as per standards, in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and all statutory requirements to fulfil the requirements of the work request or work order. Conducting routine checks on maintenance of equipments in stores as per the daily and preventive maintenance schedule. Coordinate all maintenance internal activities with third party suppliers. Ensuring that major safety equipments at various facilities are always in good running order to handle any emergencies. Escalate out of stock spare parts for the various equipment as required and help maintain inventory. Support maintaining accurate asset tracking on a monthly basis for equipment that need maintenance and other store assets. Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame Respond immediately to emergency requests from stores in alignment with Maintenance Supervisor Attend to new sites maintenance inspections if required by Maintenance Supervisor Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Follow all HSE regulations, precautions, standards, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and others. Take reasonable care of your own Health, Safety & Environment. Take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of anyone who may be affected by their own acts or omissions. To work towards the fulfilment of "Target Zero" objective (zero injuries, zero accidents, zero environmental incidents) Housekeeping Maintain the immediate and adjacent work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping Tool Box Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by the company safely and in working condition Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition Your heroic skills: Maintenance knowledge in different trades e.g. MEP, HVAC, Chillers, Freezers, Civil etc. May include a combination of trades as required by the company. Minimum qualification: High School Certificate with a relevant Trade Certificate of proficiency, Knowledge of assigned area of skill and expertise. HSE certifications would be a plus.
