Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment as per approved schedules
• Inspect machinery regularly to identify wear, faults, or potential breakdown risks
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out timely corrective repairs
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance activities and breakdown response
• Assist in implementing and updating preventive maintenance plans
• Replace faulty components promptly to reduce downtime and production disruptions
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and GMP standards during maintenance activities
• Document all maintenance work accurately, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage
• Manage tools and spare parts responsibly and report shortages when required
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment handling protocols
• Collaborate closely with production teams to improve machine performance and efficiency
• Recommend practical improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational safety
• Carry out additional maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Ideal Profile

• One to two years of experience in machine operation or technical maintenance within the frozen food industry
• High school diploma or ITI trade certificate in electrical or mechanical disciplines
• Basic knowledge of MEP systems and food hygiene requirements
• Hands-on experience setting parameters and molds for processing or packaging machines
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling
• Proven skills in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities
• Clear communication skills with accurate maintenance documentation practices
