GMG Dubai is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to support its Foods Division. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing machinery used in food processing operations to ensure continuous production efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preventive servicing, and troubleshooting of production equipment within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment as per maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults in production systems.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor during daily operations and equipment breakdowns.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure timely repairs.
• Comply with HACCP and GMP standards to maintain food safety requirements.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain proper tool and spare part inventory.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Support production teams to minimize downtime and enhance overall plant efficiency.

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical maintenance within the frozen food or manufacturing sector.
• High School Diploma or ITI trade certification in electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and basic food hygiene standards.
• Skilled in equipment setup, parameter adjustments, and packaging machine maintenance.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
