- Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of our facilities, equipment, and systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all operations run smoothly by conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repair work to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections of buildings, utilities, and equipment to identify issues. Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshooting and repairing faults. Oversee and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs when required. Ensure safety standards and compliance with relevant regulations are maintained. Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and inventory of tools/materials. Support emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Assist in planning and implementing energy-saving and cost-reduction measures.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma, technical certification, or vocational training in maintenance, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in building/facility management or industrial operations. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively. Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Conditions

On-site role, with occasional after-hours work required for urgent repairs. Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual tasks. May involve exposure to heat, noise, and confined spaces depending on tasks.

Employment Type

Full-time (shift flexibility required). Reports to: Facilities/Operations Manager.
