The Position

We are seeking a capable General Technician to join our team, responsible for maintenance and repair across various areas. The ideal candidate will possess a broad set of technical skills, be adept at troubleshooting efficiently, and able to work independently. This position is essential for maintaining optimal operation of all facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; diagnosing and troubleshooting issues; conducting preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan; quickly responding to maintenance requests and resolving problems effectively; ensuring all work complies with safety standards and company policies; keeping accurate records of maintenance activities; assisting with the installation of new systems and equipment; collaborating with other departments for smooth facility operations; maintaining tools and equipment in good condition; and providing emergency support for urgent repairs.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have proven experience as a General Technician or in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and handyman services. Strong troubleshooting skills, organizational abilities, effective problem-solving, good communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical certifications considered a plus. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, and knowledge of health and safety regulations are important. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is necessary.
