Maintenance Technician

with experience in fire alarm systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the proper functioning of fire safety systems. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems to ensure they meet safety standards and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local regulations. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems, including wiring, control panels, and detectors. Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure systems are functioning correctly. Document all inspections, tests, and repairs in detailed reports. Communicate with clients to explain maintenance procedures and address any concerns. Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with company policies and industry standards. Stay updated on the latest fire alarm technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus. 2+ years of experience in fire alarm system maintenance, installation, or repair. Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards related to fire alarm systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
