Job Title: Driver with Technician Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled

Driver with Technician Experience

to support our operations by transporting equipment, tools, and personnel, while also performing basic technical or maintenance tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license, a clean driving record, and a background in general mechanical, electrical, or HVAC-related work.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and personnel to job sites. Perform basic technical tasks such as equipment setup, minor repairs, or routine maintenance under the guidance of senior technicians. Assist in loading and unloading materials, tools, and machinery. Inspect and maintain vehicle condition, including regular servicing, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues. Follow delivery schedules and project timelines as assigned. Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and any incidents. Provide on-site support for technicians during installations, repairs, or maintenance work. Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class (e.g., light or heavy-duty vehicles). Proven experience as a driver and/or technician. Good knowledge of routes, traffic regulations, and GPS/map applications. Basic technical skills in one or more fields: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical. Physically fit and capable of lifting or moving heavy tools and equipment. Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with preventive maintenance or repairs on company vehicles or equipment. Ability to read basic technical drawings or schematics. Familiarity with safety procedures on job sites and during transportation. Certification in a technical trade is a plus.
