Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment used in aluminum and glass fabrication.
- Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
2. Repairs:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, machinery, and tools.
3. Installation:
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensure that installations meet operational standards and safety regulations.
4. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Document equipment performance and report on maintenance activities.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with production staff to identify issues causing downtime and develop solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts and services as needed.
6. Safety Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety training and initiatives within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance within manufacturing, preferably in the aluminum and glass industry.
