The Role
Essential Duties: \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform routine inspection and maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure they are in good working condition and in consistent with the health and safety standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform maintenance of electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Diagnose and repair equipment and facility related problems, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of the assets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunction and system failures, taking appropriate corrective actions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out safely and in compliance with the relevant safety regulations and company policies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain an inventory of supplies and spare parts needed for maintenance and repairs and make orders for supplies when and as necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. \xe2\x80\xa2 Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Respond to facility and equipment emergencies promptly, including outside of regular working hours when necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate effectively with the Facilities Manager and other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and address issues.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience of minimum 3 years in maintenance and repair works, preferably in a similar role \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. \xe2\x80\xa2 Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require physical strength. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education: \xe2\x80\xa2 High School Diploma or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Vocational or Technical training in maintenance related fields is an added advantage.
