Maintenance Team Leader

Job Description
As a Maintenance supervisors you will need to assist in planning, scheduling and functioning of the department's daily activities. Maintain and update reports, records and documentation of the department. Key accountabilities for the role include:
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisors in performing administrative task and other responsibilities required in the department.
- Act as a shift in charge and perform responsibilities in the absence of the supervisors.
- Responsible for ensuring that daily allocated tasks is carried out by team members.
- Maintain materials inventory in JDE, follow up on purchase requisition and timely delivery of outsourced spare parts and machinery.
- Strict compliance in implementing preventive maintenance schedule.
- Maintain cordial relations when dealing with other departments in relation to procurement, carrying out repairs.
- Attend to machine breakdowns, suggest solution to rectify equipment and normalize operations affected in least possible time.
- Follow good documentation practices and update the log books, Material Delivery, consumption and Preventive Maintenance Records.
- Follow the Health and Safety standards set by the company and report any related issues immediately to the superiors.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Qualifications In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for the candidates with Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 1 years of job-related experience. High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience Job Specific Skills: Essential
- Good spoken and written English.
- Experience as a Shift Team Leader in 5 star Hotels or Flight Catering Units.
- Capable of handling problems amicably with solutions.
- Aware of Food safety standards to be followed in a flight catering unit.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Supervisory skills in prior jobs is desirable.
- Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) system procedures.
- Basic First Aid procedures.
- Basic firefighting procedures.
