Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Maintenance Supervisor** to join our **Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS)** team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles including the Army's Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Maintenance Supervisor performs all functional duties independently in support of VEMOS maintenance operations.

+ Plans, directs, or coordinates the VEMOS maintenance operations for assigned TA organizations.

+ Duties and responsibilities include formulating maintenance policies, managing daily maintenance operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

+ Works with functional area leads on the management or administration of personnel.

**Required Qualifications** :

+ Selected candidates **must be a U.S. Citizen** .

+ **Three (3) to 10 years** of experience **AND** a **BA/BS or MA/MS degree** .

+ Proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.

+ Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems.

+ Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines.

+ Ability to provide formal, over-the-shoulder, and on-the-spot training to contractor and unit personnel.

+ Experience with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Willingness to accept both temporary and permanent CONUS & OCONUS transfers to other assignments if needed.

+ Ability to deploy to risky hostile ("war zone") environments if required.

+ **Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.**

+ **Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.**

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferable.

+ Preferably familiar or knowledgeable with MRAP/RCV systems.

**Security Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must have an active ( **DoD) Secret** clearance.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and knee.

+ Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

+ Must be able to work in high noise areas.

+ Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.

+ Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
