Job Description

Job Summary:



The Maintenance Supervisor - F&B is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all food and beverage-related equipment and facilities to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. This role ensures compliance with health and safety standards while minimizing downtime and coordinating preventive maintenance across all F&B areas including kitchens, bars, cold storage, and dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities:



Operations & Maintenance



Supervise the daily operations of the maintenance team across all F&B areas. Perform and oversee routine preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration, dishwashers, and plumbing systems. Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues in real time. Ensure all food service equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

Compliance & Safety



Maintain adherence to safety, sanitation, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP, OSHA, local health codes). Ensure all maintenance logs, checklists, and reports are up-to-date and audit-ready. Support environmental sustainability and energy-saving initiatives.

Team Management



Lead, train, and evaluate a team of maintenance technicians. Schedule work shifts and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of repairs and inspections. Coordinate with contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are needed.

Inventory & Budget



Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts for all F&B-related assets. Assist in preparing and managing the maintenance budget for F&B operations.

Collaboration



Work closely with Executive Chefs, F&B Managers, and Facility Managers to schedule repairs without interrupting service. Participate in planning for new kitchen or bar installations, renovations, or equipment upgrades.

Requirements:Education & Experience:



Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Management (or equivalent). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or food processing environments. Prior supervisory experience is a strong asset.

Skills:



Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., combi ovens, steamers, walk-in freezers). Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
