Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate a team of multi-skilled technicians (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil, mechanical).
Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure efficient workflow and high productivity.
Conduct regular safety briefings.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Maintenance Operations:
Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive maintenance (PPM) activities in accordance with established schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
Respond promptly to corrective and reactive maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
Diagnose complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to the maintenance team.
Ensure all maintenance works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Supervise external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to scope of work and safety regulations.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce all company safety policies and procedures, as well as local regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all team members.
Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and near misses.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and inventory.
Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance, equipment status, and resource utilization.
Inventory & Spares Management:
Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for critical works.
Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering of materials and spare parts.
Implement efficient inventory control practices to minimize waste and optimize costs.
Client & Stakeholder Relations:
Liaise effectively with clients, tenants, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
Communicate proactively on maintenance progress, issues, and resolutions.
Address client concerns professionally and promptly.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in maintenance operations.
Recommend upgrades or replacements for aging equipment when necessary.
Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
Relevant vocational training and certifications will be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role within a facility management company or a similar large-scale multi-site environment.
Proven experience in supervising MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, HVAC, civil works, and other building services.
Bilingual proficiency (English, Arabic and Hindi) is a significant advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
