Job Description
As as Maintenance Supervisor you will need to manage the department with an efficient team of trained technicians and provide a high standard of service in all maintenance activities. Coordinate with facility Management contractor for rectification of all maintenance related issues. Key accountabilities include:
- Assist Senior Maintenance Officer in smooth functioning of department.
- Experienced and ability to handle and solve issues related to Electrical, mechanical and building management systems.
- Responsible for planning, organising and execution of daily, weekly and monthly schedules and achieving set targets.
- Adept in achieving optimum utilisation of available manpower.
- Demonstrate skills in projecting and execution of timely preventive maintenance schedules
- Minimise wastage and induce cost control measures
- Ensure strict compliance in stores inventory and usage of consumable spare parts. Familiar with Emergency breakdown plan
- Comply with all health and safety standards; ensure that all staffs are following the guidelines set by the company.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
- Establish the department or teams' objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
- Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision.
- Have a good understanding of environmental principles and tools and how they apply to your department and role.
Qualifications In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for the candidates with Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience. Job Specific Skills: Essential
- Knowledge of Oracle based Material Management system for inventory of spares. Good spoken & written English.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
- Essential Supervisory skills in prior jobs are desirable.
- Basic First Aid procedures.
- Basic Firefighting procedures.
