Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of all factory machinery, equipment, and facilities. The Maintenance Manager oversees preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and support smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment & Machinery Maintenance

Plan, schedule, and supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot breakdowns in cutting, welding, bending, powder coating, and other metal fabrication machines. Maintain records of repairs, service logs, and equipment performance.
2. Preventive Maintenance Program

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all machines and utilities (compressors, ovens, pumps, etc.). Ensure timely servicing to avoid unplanned downtime. Coordinate calibration and servicing of critical tools and measuring instruments.
3. Facility & Utility Management

Supervise maintenance of factory infrastructure (lighting, air lines, electrical panels, exhaust systems, etc.). Manage water, power, and compressed air systems to ensure uninterrupted supply. Oversee safety and compliance of all electrical and mechanical installations.
4. Team & Vendor Management

Lead and train a team of technicians, electricians, and helpers. Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs or specialized servicing. Monitor performance, productivity, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
5. Safety, Compliance & Reporting

Ensure all maintenance work follows HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards. Maintain documentation for audits and ISO compliance. Report major breakdowns, costs, and maintenance KPIs to management.
