Job Description

Purpose: To oversee the maintenance team and ensure that all machinery, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained to optimal standards, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Team Supervision: Lead, train, and manage maintenance technicians and staff. Schedule and delegate tasks and shifts. Monitor team performance and conduct evaluations. Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans. Ensure timely repair of equipment and systems. Equipment Oversight: Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems. Ensure all equipment operates in line with safety and performance standards. Inventory and Budgeting: Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. Manage maintenance budgets and procurement processes. Safety and Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Reporting: Maintain maintenance logs and documentation. Report on maintenance KPIs and suggest improvements. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) or relevant vocational training. Experience: 3-5 years in a maintenance role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. Technical Skills: Understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
