A kitchen equipment maintenance manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep of all equipment in a commercial kitchen to ensure it is in proper working order, efficient, and safe. This role involves regular and proactive maintenance, managing repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manages both routine checks and emergency repairs for all kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.
Ensures all equipment is functioning correctly to meet health and safety standards, preventing contamination and reducing risks.
Coordinates with external service providers and technicians for specialized repairs.
Works to ensure equipment is running efficiently to minimize downtime and operational costs.
