Our Client is one of the established and reputed operations in transportation services and a contractor for heavy equipment clearing services in the automotive market based in the UAE and they are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager (Crane, Forklift) based in Abu Dhai

Responsibility:

Spearhead the day to day operational planning and coordination of all heavy lifts and transport during project operations including material arrangements, manpower distribution and equipment\xe2\x80\x99s arrangements for successful completion of the project.

Monitored the overall performance of the equipment and minimized the warranty cost.

Identified spare requirements and procure them in compliance with recommended stock holding, maintenance requirements, and budgets.

Oversee and coordinate for receiving of heavy equipment from heavy lift vessels, load-outs & load-ins from the barge, and transport operations.

Engage jobs to all technicians and workmen based on the problem list from the operations team and equipment pending jobs list and service advisor request.

Streamline field activities to manage the heavy haul and heavy lift operations in terms of safety, planning, and engineering to achieve an optimal balance between cost, time, and risk in projects.

Take necessary precautions and follow a set of measures that assess, prevent and tackle risks when working at a high distance from the ground.

Maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklists. Provide technical support to site personnel, dealers, subsidiary service groups, marketing units, design team and technical information division.

Liaise between customer and sales team to resolve hurdles faced. Expedite crane schedules in liaison with the supervisor as per project demand.

Conduct regular checks on Cranes, complete weekly checklist, and report fault/breakdown to management.

Ensure all gangways, towers, and baskets are maintained in a safe and reliable working condition.

Liaise with other discipline foremen/supervision to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.

Record man-hour and complete timesheet and daily appraisal for operators and exercise discipline at the worksite to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.

Perform troubleshooting to identify commissioning and malfunctioning issues and developed mitigation plans on-site.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, should have the following:

• 6 to 7 years of overall experience (At least 1 to 3 years in the UAE)

• Should be able to speak Arabic

• Should be well versed with Heavy equipment such as Crane, Forklift, Man lift

• Should be able to communicate in English
