Job Brief:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability and functionality of our production machinery and facilities. Your technical expertise and proactive problem-solving skills will be instrumental in minimizing downtime, optimizing production processes, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, saws, drills, and conveyor systems.

- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of machinery.

- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.

- Spare Parts Management: Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability when needed.

- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all machinery and equipment comply with safety standards and regulations, and take corrective actions as required.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, implementing changes as necessary to optimize equipment performance.

- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.

Training: Train and mentor junior maintenance staff in best practices and safety procedures.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs or equipment upgrades.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.

- Experience or familiarity in the furniture industry.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery and equipment.

- Knowledge of maintenance management software and tools.

- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Familiarity with production equipment.
