Your mission

The Machinist will work with Rotor leader of the Qatar Service Center to make sure all BH standards and Organizational need are met. He / She will also be responsible for Perform machining, Rotor assembly & balancing related activities on the gas Turbine rotors / components in the organization.

Your profile

Operate and perform Turning, Drilling, Milling, Grinders, and Boring activities to required specifications Preform Assembly & disassembly of rotors (Gas Turbine / Compressor) Selection / use of right cutting / hand tools, processes, hand tools and equipment for right task Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality Perform dimensional and visual inspections of rotors / GT related components Perform the visual dye penetrant inspection Complete required documentation with accurate information such as routers / job card, labor reporting, checklist, and inspection reports. Understands measuring instruments, mechanical equipment and use of lifting tools. Preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines, balancing facility and all its auxiliaries. Maintain a clean work area and contribute towards overall housekeeping efforts and other duties as needed Updates digital shop systems related to assigned work (Digital Work Order, Time Vouchering, Operation completion) Ensure the work area is compliance with HSE requirement Full compliance with BH Policies / Procedures
