Role Requirements

To machine parts as per drawing/ routing instructions

Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to the Howco Group H&S Environmental and Quality policies



Set & operate manual lathe/trepan machine to produce components as per drawing /routing instructions



Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications.



100 % inspection on the produced parts



Participate in problem resolution activities to achieve process & efficiency improvements.



Handling material (raw & machined) in a safe and effective manner as per the HSE requirements



Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with Company requirements.



Perform general tasks if and when required.



Awareness of different types of tools used for Deburring



Knowledge of the process to carry out remote quick thread start.

Manual lathe/trepan machine operating knowledge



Tooling knowledge



Knowledge of engineering drawing & symbols



Knowledge of measuring instruments



Knowledge on lean manufacturing technology

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Awareness of HSE , existence and key points



Min 3 year experience in setting & operating manual lathe/trepan machine and High school /trade certificate qualification



High school /trade certificate qualification and working knowledge of measuring instruments



Previous experience in improvement activities.



Similar experience in handling raw material and maintaining housekeeping standards



Positive attitude to operational change.
