We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Machinist to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the efficient operation of our plant facilities through precision machining, fabrication, and maintenance activities. If you're passionate about craftsmanship, safety, and making a direct impact in a manufacturing environment--we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Operate machine tools (lathe, milling, grinding, etc.) to fabricate or repair mechanical components Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints with accuracy Conduct preventive maintenance on workshop equipment and support wider plant maintenance Ensure all fabricated parts meet required specifications and tolerances Respond to urgent production needs with quality-focused solutions Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment Keep accurate records of tasks, materials, and machine settings Participate in waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives Contribute to optimizing departmental resources and preventive maintenance programs Suggest and implement innovative fabrication and maintenance techniques

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2 to 5 years of practical experience in machining and mechanical maintenance

Technical Skills

Proficiency in using lathes, milling, and grinding machines Ability to understand and apply engineering drawings and specifications Strong commitment to safety and workshop standards

Interpersonal Attributes

Team player with strong collaboration skills Able to handle time-sensitive challenges and prioritize effectively Confident communicator with both verbal and written communication

Key Challenges You'll Tackle

Manufacturing precision mechanical parts under time constraints Supporting fast-paced plant maintenance and production continuity
