Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to the Howco Group H&S Environmental and Quality policies



Set and machine components as per drawing /routing instructions



Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications.



Create program as per drawing /routing instructions



100 % inspection on the produced parts



Participate in problem resolution activities to achieve process & efficiency improvements.



handling material (raw & machined) in a safe and effective manner as per HSE requirements



Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with company requirements.



Perform General Tasks if and when required.

Competencies

Awareness of Howco HSE Policy, Conscious on related Policies



CNC machining and tooling knowledge



Fanuc operating system



Adopting drawing attributes



Knowledge of Engineering drawing & symbols



Geometric dimensions & Tolerances skills



Trigonometry skills



Knowledge on ISO programming and functions



Knowledge of speeds/feeds & tooling in relation to various materials



Knowledge in material properties & selection of inserts



Knowledge on lean manufacturing technology



Material handling, Crane & forklift experience



Willingness to accept ownership of housekeeping standards

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Awareness of HSE, Existence and Key points



Min 10 year in which 5 year gulf experience as CNC machinist in setting /machining /programming



High school /trade certificate qualification and working knowledge of measuring instruments



Previous experience in improvement activities.



Similar experience in material handling, crane and forklift.



Positive attitude to Operational change.
