Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining ASB PET Preform Injection Moulding Machines and ENGEL Caps Injection Molding Machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role ensures efficient production runs, adheres to safety protocols, and performs basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities: 1. Machine Operation & Setup
Operate ASB PET Preform and ENGEL Caps Injection Molding Machines following standard procedures.
Load raw materials (PET resin, colorants, additives) into hoppers and ensure proper material drying.
Set up molds, adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and perform test runs.
Monitor production to ensure output meets quality standards (weight, dimensions, visual checks).
2. Quality Control & Inspection
Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, scales, and visual checks for defects (flash, short shots, discoloration).
Follow QC checklists and document measurements in production logs.
Reject non-conforming parts and adjust machine settings as needed.
