JOB TITLE- Machine operator/lathe /CNC machine operator Job Objective: Operate relevant machinery to achieve maximum productivity levels as per specified quality and safety guidelines. Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities ? We hiring an experienced lathe machine operator or any production machine operator interning and welding and cutting for our workshop.
? The Operator must accept full responsibility for product quality and thorough output.
? The Operator must accept full responsibility to conform to safety procedures and standards.
? Conform to all Statutory, Regulatory and Company requirements, including conformance to ISO 9001 requirements.
? Identify problem areas and report to Supervisor for proactive plant maintenance and plant improvements.
? Provide appropriate and adequate feedback and input to the Supervisor with respect to repairs carried out.
? Minimize plant breakdown and down times by assisting to identifying root causes of equipment failures.
? The incumbent will be responsible for their own quality inspections and reporting.
? Ensures efficient operation of equipment and conforms to agreed production standards.
? Assist with routine maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment.
? Assist with SHE inspections and implementation of corrective actions.
? Problem solving, minor problems on the machine, and set-up tooling, including mechanical adjustments and tooling changes on workstations.
? Maintain housekeeping standards in the production plant as well as other designated areas.
? Perform other tasks & duties as allocated by a Department Manager or Supervisor. HSE Roles and Responsibilities: ? comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures;
? use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems;
? be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures;
? not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety;
? assist with the preparation of risk assessments; and
? report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues Technical Competencies Knowledge Level ? Knowledge of special purpose machines-Intermediate level
? Basic knowledge of measuring instruments-Intermediate level Preferred Minimum Qualifications
? Industrial Training Certificate or High School with 3 years' technical experience. Preferred Experience
? Good verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably also in Arabic.
? Basic technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical fields.
? -1-3 years' experience of working in a factory with machinery.
? Experience in maintenance on some hardware product. Preferable:
? Understanding and knowledge of explosives types, uses and handling characteristics.
? Understanding and knowledge of safety standards applicable when working with explosives, quality management and the production processes in a manufacturing environment.
Operating Environment:
? Work in an industrial environment with dust, fumes, gases and chemicals. BENEFITS-
