Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Lower Primary French Teacher to introduce young learners (Grades 1-2) to the French language and culture in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching young children, a creative approach to language instruction, and a strong ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Instruction

• Plan and deliver interactive, play-based French lessons tailored to young learners (ages 6-8).
• Use songs, games, stories, and hands-on activities to develop basic French vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension.
• Introduce cultural elements of French-speaking countries in an engaging way.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.

Classroom Management

• Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Implement positive behavior management strategies suitable for early learners.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive space for all students.

Assessment & Progress Tracking

• Use informal assessments (observations, quizzes, oral activities) to monitor student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain records of student development and adjust teaching methods as needed.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work with homeroom teachers to align lessons with school themes or curricula.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Professional Development

• Stay updated on best practices in early language education.
• Attend workshops or training sessions related to primary French instruction.
