JOB SUMMARY To protect and safeguard Hotels assets, associates, guest and visitors while on the premises of the Hotel. SCOPE / BUSINESS CONTEXT \xef\x82\xb7 A Full Time position based at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. \xef\x82\xb7 Number of Direct Reports - N/A \xef\x82\xb7 Titles of Direct Reports \xe2\x80\x93N/A CANDIDATE PROFILE Experience: \xef\x82\xb7 1 to 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in position of similar capacity Skills and Knowledge \xef\x82\xb7 Computer skills \xef\x82\xb7 English Language \xef\x82\xb7 Quick and eager learner Education or Certification \xef\x82\xb7 High School or equivalent similarity experience required \xef\x82\xb7 Dubai Security Guard/ Officer Certificate (SIRA) SPECIFIC DUTIES The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position: Patrol all areas of the property and report major defects to ENG immediately. \xef\x82\xb7 Respond to perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system \xef\x82\xb7 Lock Property entrances when required \xef\x82\xb7 Conduct daily physical hazard inspections. \xef\x82\xb7 Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid /CPR as required. \xef\x82\xb7 Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. \xef\x82\xb7 Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks or other incidents. \xef\x82\xb7 Defuse guest/employee disturbances. \xef\x82\xb7 Call for outside assistance if necessary. \xef\x82\xb7 Complete incident reports to documents all Security/Loss Prevention related incident \xef\x82\xb7 Handle all interruptions and complaints JOB SUMMARY Loss Prevention Officer JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai Hotel Loss Prevention Officer JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai Hotel Marriott Confidential and Proprietary Information Marriott Confidential and Proprietary Information \xef\x82\xb7 Resolve safety hazard situations. \xef\x82\xb7 Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. \xef\x82\xb7 Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. \xef\x82\xb7 Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. \xef\x82\xb7 Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals. \xef\x82\xb7 Conduct investigations and gather evidence. \xef\x82\xb7 Conduct interviews with relevant parties. OTHER Safety and Security \xef\x82\xb7 Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. \xef\x82\xb7 Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. \xef\x82\xb7 Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft. Communication \xef\x82\xb7 Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one\'s voice, using the callers\' name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call. \xef\x82\xb7 Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language. \xef\x82\xb7 Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.
