Genetic Callnet Consultancy is a dynamic and growing firm. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics / Warehouse Executive to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain.
Job Summary:
The Logistics / Warehouse Executive will be responsible for managing and overseeing all daily warehouse activities, inventory control, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE logistics, with proven expertise in import/export documentation, ensuring compliance, and optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and organization to maximize space and productivity.
Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and annual stock audits.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security within the warehouse.
Manage warehouse equipment and ensure it is well-maintained and operated safely.
Logistics & Documentation:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the shipment of goods (inbound and outbound) via air, sea, and land.
Prepare, verify, and manage all import and export documentation in compliance with UAE regulations (e.g., Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Customs Declarations, etc.).
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Handle customs clearance processes and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal teams and clients.
Administration & Compliance:
Ensure all operations adhere to UAE laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records and files for all logistics and warehouse activities.
Analyze logistics data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like shipping costs, on-time delivery, and inventory accuracy.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to reduce costs and enhance service quality.
Requirements:
Experience & Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a logistics and warehousing role within the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE import and export documentation and customs procedures is mandatory.
High school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Skills & Competencies:

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with teams, suppliers, and authorities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Forklift license or experience is a plus.
