Job Overview
The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all logistics and material movement activities within the plant. The role is integral to ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant support operations while meeting compliance and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and supervise engineering-related logistics tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficiency standards
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics personnel and ensure task completion aligns with company procedures
• Oversee all material handling activities, including PR processing, material issuance, and system updates
• Ensure all logistics operations follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with plant safety regulations
• Liaise with other departments to synchronize logistics operations with maintenance, production, and quality requirements
• Control logistics budgets and contribute to initiatives in plant improvements, environmental compliance, and resource planning
• Drive housekeeping and continuous improvement across logistics zones
• Lead regular training sessions focused on safety, system efficiency, and compliance procedures for all logistics personnel
• Recommend and implement improvements in plant logistics systems to enhance operational performance and reduce downtime
• Maintain a proactive focus on environmental health and safety (EHS) and engage in audits and reporting related to logistics performance

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or plant operations, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of logistics systems, material handling processes, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/logistics systems
• Effective team leadership and coordination skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of maintenance protocols, plant improvement strategies, and safety training programs
