Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee the movement of goods from our warehouse to our retail centers and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and delivery scheduling. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from the warehouse to retail centers and customers Supervise a team of logistics staff, including drivers, warehouse workers, and coordinators Plan and schedule deliveries to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products Manage inventory levels and track shipments to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records Analyze data to optimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Communicate with retail centers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations Resolve issues and problems that arise during the delivery process Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in logistics or transportation management High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Knowledge of logistics software and technology, including transportation management systems and inventory management systems Experience with route optimization and scheduling software Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required to drive company vehicles)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with in-house logistics operations, including warehouse management and delivery scheduling Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws, including DOT and OSHA regulations Experience with logistics metrics and benchmarking, including on-time delivery rates and inventory turnover Certification in logistics or transportation management, such as CLM or CTP
