Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Logistics Specialist

to join our team. The role is responsible for overseeing the company's supply chain operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of logistics processes in the UAE, import/export regulations, customs clearance, and coordination with shipping lines and transporters.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and customs authorities to ensure smooth clearance and delivery of goods. Monitor and track shipments, resolve delays, and provide regular status updates. Prepare and maintain shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, customs declarations, etc.). Ensure compliance with UAE customs and international trade regulations. Optimize logistics costs by negotiating with service providers and monitoring freight rates. Coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams for timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics-related expenses. Support the team in planning and forecasting logistics requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in heavy machinery or trading companies. Strong knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and/or Chinese is an advantage.
