You will be working as Logistics Specialist, will be the part of Motion Business Area for Service division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to handle motion day-to-day logistics

This position reports to

SCM & Quality Manager

Your responsibilities

• Arranging motion air/sea/road/courier movements between ABB factories, 3rd party suppliers and customer locations/sites, including projects/product sales/service orders, workshop, warranty, warehouse and movements
• Handling customs clearance for all movements and ensuring compliance, keeping up-to-date data on all the movements and creating, measuring, analyzing, developing KPI\'s within the logistics scope to be able to monitor and improve logistics performance
• Ensuring logistics costs are within the budget, seeking cost savings within the scope and reporting the savings accordingly, preparing/documenting, updating and developing the logistics processes together with SCM
• Ensuring all supplier invoices are being processed/approved within 3 working days from receiving to maintain uninterrupted service from the suppliers, upkeeping the relations with suppliers and authorities together with SCM
• Maintaining and developing the cooperation with internal parties such as Service, Sales and Operations, handling the disputes and cargo damage cases, preparing and documenting the processes, keeping up with the latest logistics news & developments to ensure compliance & best practices and creating shipping documents as per requirements

Your background

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain
• Customs clearance process knowledge
• At least 2 years of experience from sea, air, road and courier movements handling
• Basic MS Office applications skills required, good negotiation and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and tasks at same time, time management, ability to analyze and develop own scope of work is advantage
• Fluency in English language is mandatory
