Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive logistics category strategies covering transport, warehousing, last-mile delivery, and customs brokerage.
  • Execute sourcing initiatives through RFPs, e-auctions, and negotiations to secure cost savings and service improvements.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships with structured performance scorecards, quarterly reviews, and long-term contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and Incoterms 2020.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and business units to align logistics forecasts and optimize transportation networks.
  • Integrate sustainability objectives such as CO? reduction and packaging optimization into sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with IT teams to digitize procurement workflows and implement analytics-driven dashboards.
  • Prepare and present detailed market intelligence, cost benchmarking, and risk analyses for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of logistics projects and supplier performance goals.
  • Mentor sourcing specialists, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional development.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration; Master's preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics procurement, transportation management, or category strategy.
  • CIPS, APICS CSCP, or CLTD certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including total cost of ownership (TCO) and benchmarking.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, and Transport/Warehouse Management Systems (TMS/WMS).
  • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management expertise.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a results-driven mindset.
