Job Description

The Logistics Planner is a gatekeeper for providing accurate and timely information to the Shipping and Receiving Departments. Responsibilities also include analyzing and reporting shipping errors reported by Customer Service in SAP. The Logistics Coordinator is the point person for Inventory Control and completes research and inventory adjustments working with cycle counters and other departments. A person that would excel in this position would be proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and SAP (or eager to learn SAP). This person must be able to work independently and accomplish tasks on a daily and weekly basis and meet deadlines. We are constantly looking to improve processes. This person will be in a position to improve current processes to minimize repetitive/transactional work. Time management, attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical to success in this position. While there are repetitive tasks completed daily, the inventory control aspect requires switching gears swiftly.

What You Will Do:

Ensure logistics service at performance level agreed with the end-customer is delivered.

Collaborate on monitoring KPI's with Logistics management.

Develop operational relationship with Sales and logistics 3PL providers.

Manage logistics transportation of FG to relevant regions on time.

Manage all logistics activities in a way that transports of goods are combined at an optimal level.

Ensure that customer documentation requirements are met for all shipments.

Maintain a DIFOT score for customers delivery in accordance with the targets set by management.

Execute all SAP transaction related to shipments (DNs - COAs - PGIs - ETC.)

Manage the planning of all shipments on weekly basis and share the plan to relevant stakeholders.

Ensure the safety requirements are met with each shipment in accordance with Ecolab policy and customer requirements.

Position Details: Plant location: Dammam, 2nd Industrial city

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience working with numerical data and spreadsheets. Ability to perform basic calculations.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a warehouse and distribution facility Experience using SAP Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records. Well-developed customer service, organization and administrative skills. Basic understanding of shipping/receiving and warehouse operations is an asset. Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills. Must have a flexible and adaptable approach to work Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal)
