Logistics Manager
Job Title: Logistics Manager
Reports To: Project Director / Construction Manager
Summary: The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the complex flow of resources to and from the construction site. This includes personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time to support the construction schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive Site Logistics Plan, covering site access, traffic management, delivery schedules, storage, and waste management.
• Procurement Coordination: Liaise with the procurement team and planners to align material delivery schedules with the construction program.
• Site Establishment: Plan the layout of the site, including offices, welfare facilities, material storage areas, and laydown areas.
• Traffic Management: Coordinate vehicle movements, crane lifts, and deliveries to minimize disruption and maintain safety.
• Material Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, security, and issuance of materials to the workforce.
• Waste Management: Implement and manage site waste management and recycling plans.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage the logistics requirements for all subcontractors working on site.
• Security: Oversee site security protocols to prevent theft and vandalism.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Significant experience in a logistics or site management role within construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and supply chain management.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project planning software.
