Job Responsibilities:

- Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.

- Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.

- Firm knowledge about INCO terms and Legal/custom requirements.

- Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others.

- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.

- Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.

- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

- Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.

- Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.

- Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.

- Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.

- Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency.

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

- Negotiate with transporters, shipping agencies and suppliers and establish long term contracts.

- Capability to Analyze changes in contract terms and its impact on overall cost management.

- Ability to handle multiple shipments from overseas locations and arrange clearances on a timely manner.

- Establish performance indicators and analyze periodically and submit reports to management.

Job Requirements:

- 8 - 10 years of experience as a Logistics Manager.

- Education: Bachelors and MBA Degree

- Excellent communication in English.

- Professional certification in Supply Chain and Logistics is a plus.

- Male candidates are preferred for the role.

- Candidate should be immediately available to join and be based in UAE for Face-to-Face interview.

- UAE Driving License is a must.
