Logistics Manager (civil)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and site management to ensure materials are available as per project schedules.
Oversee transportation, warehousing, and inventory management of civil materials.
Monitor and control logistics costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Lead and supervise logistics team, providing guidance and training.
Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and transportation metrics.
Resolve logistical issues and coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
Proven experience in logistics management within civil construction projects.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Knowledge of supply chain management, transportation, and warehousing.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
