Job Description

We are Abraa.com, a leading B2B digital marketplace in the Middle East. We connect local businesses with wholesale suppliers from around the world. For local businesses we offer the opportunity to reduce their margins, whilst international sellers can rely on Abraa.com to expand their reach and easily enter the Middle East market. :

• Logistic Executive to handle International freight forwarding and import / export business.
• Dealing with International Freight forwarding companies.
• Coordinate with shipping line to get the freight rates and other logistic costs
• Oversees the processing of customer orders.
• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
• Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Communicate with forwarders to achieve profitable deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments, and ensure accuracy of purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Reviews all shipping labels and packaging to ensure that they meet the company's regulations.
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible, and ensure that all expenditures stay within the company budget.
• Coordinate haulier (e.g. truck driver's) according to availability and requirements, prepare accurate reports for upper management.
• Plan, implement and oversee supply chain operations, arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible.
• Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
• Ensure all the assets and supplies are used efficiently.
• Maintain logs and records of products, warehouse stock and executed orders
• Conduct and optimize IT logistics procedures, analyze data regularly.
• Identify process bottlenecks and suggest solutions for improvement.
• Adhere to all relevant rules and regulations.
• Ensures that all orders are delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
• Addresses and resolves any issues with delayed shipments.
• Ensures that all shipping and ordering deadlines are met.
• Serves as point of contact in terms of logistics.
• Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
• Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
• Liaising and negotiating with forwarders.

Experience:

• Logistics / Shipping: 3 years (Preferred)
