Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized

Logistics Engineer

to oversee and optimize the logistical operations of a construction company in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for managing and improving systems related to labor accommodations (camps), fleet operations, and construction inventory (store/warehouse), ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective practices. Candidates with an engineering background are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:Camp Management:

Lead the operation and maintenance of labor camps, ensuring proper living standards, hygiene, and safety protocols. Monitor camp occupancy, allocations, maintenance schedules, and ensure alignment with UAE labor and municipality regulations. Coordinate with service vendors (cleaning, catering, pest control) for daily upkeep. Maintain accurate documentation of occupancy, utility usage, and maintenance logs. Support government inspections and audits for camp compliance.

Fleet & Vehicle Operations:

Supervise company vehicle operations including registration, insurance, maintenance, and legal compliance. Manage digital platforms such as Asateel, Darb, Salik, and fuel tracking systems. Coordinate driver assignments and vehicle distribution based on site/project needs. Track vehicle service schedules, handle breakdowns, and ensure timely repairs. Maintain an up-to-date fleet database (documents, renewal alerts, and inspection logs).

Store & Inventory Management:

Oversee material receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch across project sites. Maintain stock levels, generate inventory reports, and track consumption. Ensure proper storage, stock rotation, and waste minimization. Collaborate with procurement for restocking based on usage forecasts. Enforce safety, quality, and storage standards within the warehouse.

Logistics Planning & Coordination:

Develop and implement standard logistics procedures and workflows across camp, fleet, and inventory operations. Generate periodic reports on logistics KPIs: occupancy, fleet status, material usage, etc. Ensure all logistics activities align with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards. Liaise with internal departments such as HR, Procurement, and Projects to coordinate logistics support.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in UAE construction logistics (camp, fleet, and store management). Bachelor's degree in
