Summary of the Role:

The position involves handling all tasks related to import shipments--from shipment creation to final delivery--ensuring proper documentation, compliance with regulations, coordination with internal/ external teams, and tracking in systems like SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling all Import Shipments and related tasks from shipment creation to the delivery Coordinate with internal (product lines, control tower - other BH functions) and external stakeholders (freight forwarded - carriers) to process and deliver the shipments Prepare the required documentation for customs clearance Provide approvals on timely basis by reviewing the documents provided by the sending location and arranging appropriate approvals/authority permits required for each shipment Follow country required authorization and approval (such as FANR, e-DAS, ESMA, TRA, MOI, MOH ........etc.) Request and follow up with the origins (control towers) for the pre alert, follow the different steps until shipment arrival and clearance Provide clearance instructions and coordinate with the freight forwarder and clearance agent to arrange clearance and delivery Update the milestones in SAP Keep WME updated Manage and keep all shipment-related documents and email backup in specific shipment folder on the server Arrange and collect International Freight Invoice and COO from the origin team (control towers), and clearance charges invoice from the clearing agent Maintaining reports with shipment number, customs declaration number, product line, clearing agent name and related cost Timely updates and replies to emails

Qualifications/Requirements:

Should have a minimum 2-3 years' experience in Logistics Knowledge of customs laws / procedures / local regulations & management of relationship with customs and port authorities Confident in Microsoft Excel Should have good skills in customer service
