Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator with deep knowledge of Dubai customs clearance procedures to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with specific expertise in managing customs clearance processes in UAE. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across borders while complying with all relevant customs regulations and requirements.Responsibilities: * Coordinate and manage all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance procedures in Dubai.
- Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other service providers to facilitate the timely clearance of shipments through Dubai customs.
- Ensure compliance with all Dubai customs regulations and requirements, including documentation, tariffs, duties, and taxes.
- Obtain and maintain necessary permits, licenses, and certifications required for importing and exporting goods through Dubai ports.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams and external partners on customs clearance processes and requirements.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are cleared through Dubai customs in a timely manner and delivered to customers according to schedule.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance, including missing or incorrect documentation, customs duties, and inspection requirements.
- Keep abreast of changes in Dubai customs regulations and procedures and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze customs clearance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and meet customer requirements.
