About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Hamriyah Free Zone. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in logistics or supply chain management within the UAE. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, managing documentation, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet our operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and monitor the shipment of goods from origin to destination via air, sea, and land freight.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare, check, and process all necessary shipping documents accurately and in a timely manner (e.g., Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin).
  • Customs Clearance: Liaise with customs brokers and government authorities to ensure swift and compliant customs clearance for both imports and exports, leveraging your knowledge of UAE customs procedures.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments, providing regular updates on shipment status.
  • ERP & System Management: Utilize ERP software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and tracking, Outlook for communication) to update records, track inventory, and generate reports.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the logistics process, such as delays, damages, or documentation errors.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities adhere to company policies and UAE regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Age: Must be between 25 and 30 years old.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role.
  • UAE Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UAE customs regulations, procedures, and documentation is essential. Experience working within Hamriyah Free Zone is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for spreadsheets and data analysis, Word for documentation, Outlook for email management).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems; specific experience with Tally is highly desirable.
  • Personal Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
