Logistics Co Ordinator

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics and transportation of goods for clients, including import and export operations.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and track the movement of cargo to ensure it reaches its destination on schedule and in compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide updates on shipment status.
- Identify and resolve logistics and transportation issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize supply chain processes and reduce transportation costs.
- Stay informed about changes in transportation regulations and industry trends.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, freight management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
