Job Summary: Looking for a Logistics Co-Ordinator in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Coordinate and monitor the entire logistics process including procurement, inventory management, transportation and distribution to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Plan and schedule transportation routes, considering factors such as cost, availability as well as delivery requirements
• Handle relationships with freight forwarders, carriers as well as third-party logistics providers, negotiating rates and contracts to optimize service and cost
• Track and trace shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, customs compliance as well as timely resolution of any issues or delays
• Maintain and analyze logistics data, generating reports and metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams, including purchasing, operations as well as customer service to ensure proper coordination of logistics activities and fulfillment of customer orders
• Handle orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Reach out to suppliers, retailers as well as customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock availability and accurate inventory records
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff such as drivers according to availabilities and requirements
• Conduct any other relevant tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred
• At least 2+ years of experience in the same or similar position
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including procurement, transportation as well as distribution
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations, customs processes as well as import/export procedures required
