Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator at Apparel Group is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely customs clearance, and delivering goods to warehouses and stores through cost-effective transport solutions. This role supports the brand team by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and agents for cargo pick-up after aligning with brand teams
• Manage freight forwarders for import, export, and re-export shipments, ensuring timely delivery to warehouses and stores
• Request freight quotes from service providers, prepare comparisons, and recommend cost-effective solutions for ad-hoc shipments
• Oversee inbound and outbound stock movement, minimizing lead times and maximizing transport efficiency
• Prepare and process shipping documentation for GCC and UAE exports
• Validate customs Bills of Entry (BOE) and freight invoices, and submit to finance for timely payments
• Process customs duty payments for all shipments to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Track shipment status and provide timely updates to brand teams

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics coordination or freight operations, preferably in retail or FMCG
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and shipping documentation in the UAE and GCC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
