What you need to bring
Professional Bachelor
- Responsible for coordinating with Jebel Ali Operations Support Base (JAOSB) and the Procurement Department for timely availability of all critical Offshore Material requirements through proper logistics planning and organization;
- Responsible for manning the Radio Room establishing effective communications with all relevant parties, monitoring and coordinating helicopter and marine movements and establishing and maintaining clear communications during emergencies;
- Ensure safe, efficient and continuous activities within operational, production and administrative requirements by liaising with Operations, Maintenance, Jetty Dispatcher and Onshore Production Support Services for timely expediting of important and critical materials;
- Issuing authority within the area of responsibility for General Work Permits after ensuring all operations comply with current safety standards;
- Ensure all Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM), Radiographic Isotopes and Explosive Materials are shipped fulfilling all safety requisites by ensuring necessary approvals, sufficient vessel deck space and attaching relevant documents;
- Source material available through Oracle, review the daily offshore plan and requirements and ensure the material sourced through Oracle is checked and available;
- Ensure all Safety Critical items/units are certified and readily available for daily use;
- Inspect all received items against documentation, communicate with each user group for clearance and provide reports audit trail;
- Ensure all Cargo Carrying Appliances (CCU) are returned and certified in a timely manner by effectively communicating / coordinating with concerned work groups;
- Ensure all Goods Returns are accompanied by the Return Request with Appropriate Workshop Corrective Maintenance (WCM) in a timely manner by coordinating with Inventory, Stock Value, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) Order schedules;
- Receive, issue, replenish and maintain satellite warehouse critical spares stock in an auditable manner.
- Conduct in-house audit and assist audit personnel;
- Coordinate with Normally Unmanned Installation platforms/facility operators for offloading cargo on priority basis;
- Arrange/maintain portable water stock and arrange bunker requirements via Supply Vessel and liaise with Admin/Logistics Supervisor for Supply Vessel cargo loading;
- Communicate and coordinate with vessel captains/crew, platform/crane operators to properly handle / offload cargo;
- After offloading of cargo, sort materials and communicate with each work group/department for clearance;
- Responsible for maintaining the Database of available tools;
- Attend Emergency Control Centre as Radio Operator when required;
- Understand and have detailed knowledge of the company\'s Emergency Response Procedures;
- Maintain a state of readiness at all times and respond to all emergencies in a calm and responsible manner as defined in the Company Emergency Response Procedures Manual including the initiation and direction of aero and marine emergency response procedures;
- Establish and maintain effective communications during emergencies;
- During drills/emergencies, take direction from Logistics Coordinator and execute the roles specified in the Incident Management Guidelines (IMG) and Action Plan Guide;
- Plan, coordinate and optimize the utilization of the logistics service providers, including all air and marine assets;
- Under the direction of the Admin/Logistics Supervisor, dispatch the helicopter for personnel and/or material moves between the field locations;
- Responsible for monitoring/logging all helicopter flight movements;
- Liaise with helicopter pilots and vessel masters to deliver routing instructions; material and passenger manifests; discussion of loading restrictions and refueling requirements. Relay and discuss weather related issues that impact the logistics service(s); resolution of conflicts and/or re-scheduling of movements and/or services;
- Ensure Helicopter Expected Time of Arrivals are provided to all landing locations offshore well ahead of aircraft final approach;
- Supervise the Helideck Landing Officer (HLO) for all activities on the helideck and loading of baggage and freight;
- Schedule helicopter refueling;
- Plan and dispatch crew boats efficiently to minimize delays in having men and material at the location when needed;
- Responsible for coordination of field moves, dropping-off and picking-up personnel out in the field;
- Book, coordinate and control all passengers and materials movement throughout the complex, remote wellhead platforms and between the fields and rigs;
- Liaise closely with the Port Captain to determine marine department movements;
- Work closely with the Roster Controller.
What you need to bring
- High School Education, University Degree desirable;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the area of radio operations and/or in a Warehouse Operations and Logistics;
- Experience in remote area or offshore environment preferable;
- Radio Operator\xe2\x80\x99s Certificate of competence;
- Knowledge of radio operations to communicate with Vessel Captains/crew preferable;
- Radio Operator\xe2\x80\x99s Certificate of competence for VHF radios;
- Good Planning and Organization skills;
- Strong English Language communication skills;
- Able to work under a stressful environment;
- Cost Conscious;
- Computer Literate \xe2\x80\x94 thorough working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite and Material Data system.
