Our client, a manufacturer of different industrial products is seeking to hire a logistics assistant who will Organize and sustain the operational activities of the company logistics. You will be responsible for Processing intercompany customer orders and ensuring effective service and administrative support for the assigned customers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Supervise loading of the products and other Project items on Containers and Open Trailer
Making loading plans & ensuring that always available in Field while loading activity
Coordinating with Freight forwarder & Customer for Timely collection of Goods
Preparing Packing List, Invoice & Delivery Order copy.
Calculating and sending the Container/Trailer requirement for every Sales Order/Project to the Customer.
Supporting Customer service with booking of Intercompany order and following till collection. Invoicing to be done for Intercompany orders.
Enter and process orders onto established system in a correct and efficient way, Provide delivery commitment to customer and follow up on order activity in order to alert customer and sales staff in case of discrepancies.
Execute the customer service function for intercompany orders are provide back up for Customer Service Rep.
Your Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
Must be aware of INCO terms.
2-4 years work experience in administration/customer service/logistic department
Working experience in Purchasing / Inventory / Manufacturing environment preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Able to manage self to achieve set targets
Good working knowledge of MS Office packages,
Experience in ERP system (i.e., Oracle) and CRM is a plus.
