Job Title : Logistics Assistant

Basic Function:

Under the supervision of the logistics coordinator, assist the logistics team with coordinating deliveries to & from the field. The logistics assistant will be responsible for receiving & dispatching, and verifying contents against documentation. Document & report discrepancies to the requestor

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and checking in/outbound shipments against the documents. Keeping the relevant project team posted on their requests.
• Signing in/outbound shipping documents, filing & share the in/outbound movement documents with the project team.
• Coordinate with the in-house rigging team for loading/offloading operations.
• Coordinate with internal or external resources for trucking & crane requirements. Consolidate deliveries for dispatch to the site.
• Reporting discrepancies between receipt documents & goods/assets received.
• Ensuring that the logistics support team completes housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with asset counts. Performs relevant tasks in the ERP.

Should be familiar with working practises in Oil and Gas Industry with the highest attention to Service Quality & HSE.

Personal Attributes:

• Ability to coordinate with multiple responsible parties to ensure timely dispatch and/or collection of Project requirements.
• Flexible and hardworking nature whilst displaying integrity at all times.

Desired Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a logistics assistant at a large warehouse, preferably with ADNOC on/offshore operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple parties like the project team, Factory, warehouse & field locations right through receiving & dispatching consignments.
