DescriptionJob Summary: Looking for a Logistic Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)Job Key Details:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies as well as procedures to optimize supply chain efficiency, minimize costs and improve custom service
• Oversee the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses or directly to customers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective transport solutions
• Coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage as well as dispatch of goods in the warehouse
• Manage inventory levels including monitoring stock levels, tracking inventory movements and analyzing inventory data to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing as well as finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination of logistics operation
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and carriers to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations including transportation, warehousing and inventory management
• Experience in managing a team and developing logistics strategies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
